(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - In further remarks, Imam Khamenei said the fact that the Islamic revolution of Iran has become a model for other peoples and countries certainly has had a profound effect in shaping the extremely important events which are taking place in this region.
Imam Khamenei added: "The victory of the Islamic revolution in Iran, the establishment of the Islamic republic, the longevity and solid base and strength of Iran's Islamic government, the fact that Iran has made eye-catching progress in science and technology and is developing and progressing day-by-day, in all areas – all this means regional Muslim countries look up to Iran as an excellent role model and a source of pride and Iran has undoubtedly influenced them.
Pointing to Islamic awakening of regional nations, Imam Khamenei said this is an enormous event , a very important event, which undoubtedly has been influenced by the Islamic revolution of Iran. He pointed to the important duties of government officials and prominent political figures in this regard, and emphasized that in this sensitive juncture, the peoples uprisings (peoples presence on the scene ) and their chanting of Islamic slogans are two very important signals which tell us about the true nature of events happening in this region. Imam Khamenei added: "All Muslims and intellectuals in Iran and other countries of the world have always wanted to see the developments which we are witnessing today".
In further remarks, Imam Khamenei said the resilience of nations in their struggles and their persistence will guarantee them eventual success. He said if regional peoples rise up and make their presence felt, just like the Iranian nation did 32 years ago, then Almighty God will make their determination more resolute and stalwart, and definitely the final victory will be theirs.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Imam Khamenei said with divine help and the unflinching determination of regional peoples, not only will the corrupt and despotic rulers and dictators be toppled, but also the United States of America, and other world powers, with all their ruthlessness and blood-thirsty instincts, will be defeated, in the end, by the regional peoples -- and this is the reality which we are witnessing now.
